Cats and David Tennant

Hey everyone! I hope all you Americans out there had a fun Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! So today, I want to talk about cats. I personally love cats, I have five, and they all have great and hilarious personalities. My first cat is named Zeus, and he's really fat.
He is really sweet, though, and I like to put costumes on him. The others are Dexter, Pumpkin, Bilbo, and Athena. I don't really have any good pictures of them, though. Actually, I lied. Here's Athena
So, many people think that cats are all mean and annoying, but sometimes they aren't. Actually, all of my cats except Athena are sweet and adorable. Sometimes, they can be annoying, like when they walk all over your computer or the piano or whatever they decide to do. Also, sometimes they attack your shoes-which is weird. Also, they can actually attack you, which is also annoying. Zeus in particular gets annoying at about 5 am if you don't feed him. He comes onto the bed and bites your knuckles and/or face. If he bites the knuckles, he also shakes your hand around. Basically, his idea is that if there isn't any food for him to eat, he will just eat you instead.

So after that weird little rant, you can probably tell that I had no idea what to talk about today. Honestly, I am really bad at figuring out what to write about every week, so when I ask you all for suggestions, I REALLY mean it. If you don't send in some ideas for me, soon I will just have to resort to talking about the combined sexiness of David Tennant, Colin Morgan, and Bradley James. And trust me, I have enough pictures of those three to last for a few months worth of blogs. And OH YES, I do mean it.

Yeah, no one wants that-except for me. And all the other Doctor Who and Merlin fangirls out there. So please, I'm not even sure how many people, if any, read this blog, but if you read it and you don't want to see pictures of male actors covering the page, I suggest you send me some ideas. NOW. Via email or comment. That is your ultimatum. So anyway, now for this week's quote from the amazing David Tennant. LEAVE COMMENTS EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

YouTube and other Time-Wasters

Hey everyone! Sorry about the lack of a post yesterday, I wasn't at home for most of the day. So anyway, today I want to talk about the ways I waste time when I'm supposed to be doing homework or other things. Here are some of my personal favorites:
1. YouTube! I go onto YouTube and start watching videos, and then I find more videos that look interesting and watch them too. This whole cycle keeps repeating in a downward spiral of depression and procrastination. Some of my favorite time-wasters on YouTube are Shane Dawson, Jenna Marbles,  Smosh, and Tobuscus.
2. Smosh.com. Continuing on the thread of Smosh, Smosh.com has some of the weirdest articles and lists on the Internet. The best(or maybe worst) part of this is that at the end of every article, there is a list of links to related articles that you can look at to waste even more time!
3. I also like Tumblr, but only one of the blogs. That is called Lonely-Soles, and it is a blog of fantastic shoes that are amazing but, alas, do not exist yet.
4. The last way I waste time is Facebook, which is probably the worst because some of the pages post links to other articles, and then you click on those and those have more links to other articles and it just keeps going, but is pretty great.
So thats pretty much it for me. There will be a normal post next Saturday since I'm not busy. What are your favorite time wasters? Let me know in the comments or send me an e-mail.
Quote for the week: "The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things or make them unimportant." -The Doctor, "Vincent and the Doctor"
Also, sorry I forgot to post a quote last week, so here's a kitty in a top hat:

Studying

Hey everyone! Today's post is going to be pretty short because I'm in the process of studying for my midterm exams, which is terrible and long and had way too many essays. So, obviously, I'm going to talk about studying. Now, I don't normally study for much. In fact, the only subject I DO study for is biology- its really hard. But my exams have me studying much more than usual. Here is a list of stuff that I have to do to prepare for my midterms next Tuesday-Friday (Monday is a study day):
For World History:
1. Make a total of 75 vocab notecards
2. Prepare a 5 Paragraph essay on religion
For Spanish:
1. Look over my review sheet
For Math(geometry):
1. Look over review sheet
2. Make sure I have a calculator
3. Know critical terms
For English 1:
1. Look at PowerPoints online
2. Prepare TWO 5 paragraph essays, each with 3 quotations per body paragraph (18 quotes)
3. Make a notecard for each essay containing above mentioned 18 quotes
4. Make sure I know my characters
For Biology:
1. Make around 30 notecards from review sheet
2. Look over old tests
3. Do genetics problems

So, as you can see, I'll be pretty busy this weekend. Wish me luck and make sure to leave a comment or send me an e-mail telling me what you'd like me to do next week. See you later!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Hey, everyone! I know its a bit late but I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Kwanzaa! Sorry to any other holidays I missed, but Happy Them too! And also, Happy New Year!!! 2013 is going to be a big year for me. I'm turning 15 this month, getting my learners' permit, going to Europe this summer, and finishing my first year in high school! Not to mention that the second part of The Hobbit will be out in December! I'm really excited by that, if you can't tell by my overuse of exclamation points. Anyway, here are a few things I'm planning to do this year:
1. Be more consistent with posting, both here and on my book review blog (bookreviewsbymorganwaas.blogspot.com)
2. Write my book! Yes, I am working on a novel, and I have been for a few years. Sadly, I've realized that everything I wrote in the past year or so is absolute garbage. If anyone has any ideas for either dreams/nightmares or ways to die, please tell me. (Just rough ideas please)
3. I'm thinking of doing videos on my YouTube channel. Is that a good idea? Maybe not, but I'll try anyway. The videos will probably be music-based or some of my book reviews put into video form. One is already up, it is called Morgan Waas playing "River Flows in You" by Yiruma. Check it out! Oh, and feel free to mock me as much as you'd like for my awful titles.
OK, well that's all for tonight, and I'll leave you with your quote. This week it comes from "The Two Towers" by J.R.R. Tolkein, which I am currently rereading:
"But slowly, very slowly. Very carefully! Or hobbits go down to join the Dead ones and light little candles. Follow Smeagol! Don't look at the lights!" Smeagol, The Two Towers, The Passage of the Marshes
PS Most of these quotes will probably be from books, movies, or TV Shows
PPS What do you want to see on my blog to make it better? Let me know!
